John, 8 inches, boy that's small. Hope they didn't pay too much. John PS A nervous attempt at bad humor before Mr. Greenspan's edict this PM. The experts can comment better on this than I, but I think there's a whole lot more chips to be built on 8" wafers before 12" takes over. My other favorite semi,LSI, hasn't even announced plans for 12" yet. Alan's going for the 25 basis points, right? If he shot the whole thing at 50, what would he do next time if he doesn't like what he sees in the inflation indicators? Tony
