Sycamore to debut in Europe next week. Gardener according to an interview given by Deshpande/CEO to the press in India where he was the keynote speaker,Sycamore would be introducing their products in Europe next week. I am sitting here and wondering as to who could be the first customer in Europe. I believe Sycamore is using light beam to transmit data as opposed to the traditional method by which the data is transmitted through electrons. Their products are cheaper and faster to implement. I don't know if anyone else is using the same technology, I hope Sycamore's technology is proprietary. The company has already gotten $600 mil dollars worth of business in such a short time and the company is shooting for 2-3 customers a quarter. I have a feeling that these guys will be a force to reckon with.We are talking transmission of data at the speed of light. Thanks for pointing to the article in Forbes, I'll take a look as soon as I get some time.
