Internal rumors had been circulating for months at CPQ that Straw was on his way out - the supply chain functions had been distributed into the product groups and Straw pretty much had no job any more. Hardly "rats jumping" - She_x on the Yahoo CPQ Investors Club thread has posted some info on this going back to September...
