ANTs software.com Board Composition and Policy Changes

BURLINGAME, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 2, 2000--ANTs software.com, (OTCBB:ANTS)
(www.antssoftware.com) a developer of advanced technologies to speed up computer processing today announced
changes in its board composition and policies.

Frederick D. Pettit, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ANTs said, "The Company deeply regrets that Dr. Peter
C. Patton has resigned from our board of directors. He is a recognized authority in the field of parallel processing
whose past service to the Company, which extends back to its formation in the mid-80's, has been invaluable."

Looking ahead, Pettit said, "We have been exploring possible additions to our board for some time with several
objectives in mind. First, of course, is to attract individuals with experience of a kind that can make a real contribution
to the development and guidance of the Company. Second, is to ensure a majority of non-management members.
Finally, we want to attract individuals whose primary activities offer little or no prospect of potential conflict with their
responsibilities as directors of the Company."
