As far as I know, IDX is working with NEC on tenprinters. However, because this is a smart card deal, there has to be a nontenprinter bio-authentication element to it.
I think IDX is on the winning team here, and I think that Fowler et al. were (to their discredit) playing dumb on the conference call. The question clearly referred to South Africa, and the deal is big enough -- even if IDX weren't involved -- for it not to be confused with the Ivory Coast which isn't, by the way, anywhere near South Africa on the continent.
As to what'the stock's doing . . . it is not doing much in terms of volume or price movement. No news out of IDX in the past couple of days, stock drifting down a bit after an updraft . . . no big deal. An insider selling window opened on January 31, I've been told, but I don't see any big selling days since then, either. Sometimes a cigar's just a cigar, Brad. |
