After the ASCOM sale I wrote:

>>I knew SWIB rang a bell. Another Westy company from years past was ICC Technologies. Its leader was Irvin Gross who, like Fowler was a long time Westy friend. SWIB was a long-time beneficial owner (7% or so). ICGN made a revolutionary kind of air conditioner using a wheel filled with a desiccant material. More than a year back ICGN was involved in a reverse take over of an internet web page designer called Rare Medium. At the time shares sold for $2-$3.

Rare is a screaming success (closed over $43 today). SWIB still holds its shares!!!!

I'm not good enough as a detective or Wendell wannabe to figure out what the Westy connection means, if anything. This example does speak to SWIB's tendency to hold long, however.<<

Interesting, SWIB filed a form 13 today announcing it will no longer own any RRRR (formerly ICGN) shares as of 2/10. They had 2.02mm. so they'll have some change left over after paying for the Ascom shares of IDX.
