A year ago MBI stated that 50,000 people die every year in USA from blood infections due to catheters. Now MBI states that 70,000 people die in USA every year from the same cause. The problem is getting worse quickly. The demand for MBI 226 will be big once it has passed FDA approval. There is pressure to get it passed quickly. FDA will not cut corners but I would think MBI will be given VIP treatment.
