Earlie, re: Intel
Hopefully you can determine whether the shortages are supply or demand issues.
There seem's to be a lot of conflicting info out there.
Micron says they have inventory of DRAM. Taiwan mobo makers and Euro disti's complaining they can't get PIII's. (Intel even recommending the disti's use PII's). Intel buying fab's to increase capacity. DRAM spot prices falling. Some PC Maker's saying Feb. slow. Intel has two price cuts in one month. Avnet say's PIII's will be tight through Q1. Intel pushing conversion to sockets for PIII. Etc. etc.
So is it a supply or demand issue?
