John - I was told that POSC scanners are "dedicated, full ring (BGO crystal) PET cameras."

So this technology is now outdated, or just not "cutting edge"?

I was also told (by company) that they are the gold-medal standard in "cardiac PET", and that the superior sensitivity of the POSICAM system has made it very successful for oncology and neurology.

Anyone know if this is valid? I'll be hunting for information and see what else I can find.
