Cool, a response on my old thread!

To tell you the truth, I have absolutely nothing to recommend to you at this point in time as far as reading material goes, because that is not the route I took to get where I am today... I truly went to the "School of Hard Knocks", losing a small fortune trading options before developing my own system that has performed very well for the past five years... After losing all of that money trading options in the past, I like to sell them these days to get some of that money back.
What I do recommend however, is to use the mini or regular S&P 500 futures as a "proxy" for the OEX, because those option premiums are so darn high these days... Most of the time, the two indices will move in the same direction.
In any case, no matter what you decide to do, try and be careful, because the "sharks" rule the options and futures pits. (in my opinion) Yogi
