Well, I would comment that they have good taste in encryption technology. : ) Other than that, I know little about them. Am interested though.
Yodlee.com Utilizes Certicom Wireless Security Technology in Yodlee2Go Application For Palm VII Organizers
Enables Palm VII™ Users to Securely View and Access Personal Information from Hundreds of Web Sites Directly on their Palm Device
HAYWARD, Calif. and SUNNYVALE, Calif., November 22, 1999 – Yodlee.com and Certicom, a leading provider of next-generation encryption technology, today announced that Yodlee.com has secured the Yodlee2Go™ Web Clipping Application for Palm VII‘ wireless organizers with Certicom encryption technology. Yodlee2Go is the first personalization service to give Palm™ users comprehensive, real-time access to all their personal, Web-based account information over a secure, wireless network. With the recent launch of Yodlee2Go, Yodlee.com and Certicom have given Palm users the access and security they need to manage highly personal information on their Palm organizers.
Also announced today is a new and improved Yodlee2Go interface for displaying information on the Palm VII organizer. Yodlee2Go is an extension of the Yodlee.com service, which summarizes and gives users one-click access to personal account information, such as travel reservations, bank and brokerage accounts, credit card and utility bills, shopping, news and e-mail, in one central place. The Yodlee2Go software application intelligently ports a user's Yodlee information to personal digital assistants (PDAs), such as Palm Computing® devices. Yodlee2Go user data is secured and encrypted as it travels across the wireless network, taking advantage of the secure and authenticated wireless connection between the Palm VII organizer and the Yodlee.com Web server.
"Certicom encryption technology provides Yodlee2Go users with the convenience and assurance that their personal and sensitive information is safe during transit from our servers to the Palm VII," said Neil Daswani, chief architect of mobile services at Yodlee.com. "Providing secure, wireless access to summarized, personal information from hundreds of Web sites is a true killer application for Palm users, helping them manage their lives, even when they're on the go."
"Strong security solutions are becoming an increasingly critical component of the wireless equation," said Rick Dalmazzi, president of Certicom. "Applications such as Yodlee2Go, which allows users to manage multiple instances of personal and confidential information, rely on strong encryption technology at the platform level to ensure the protection of their wireless communications."
Certicom encryption technology is behind a number of leading software applications availabile today for the Palm Computing platform. Certicom encryption also secures the wireless network available on the Palm VII organizer. Yodlee2Go is the first to provide Palm VII users instant access to over 700 sites across 12 categories.
