Please define cheap.... APA Optics designs, manufactures, and markets optical components and various optoelectronic products. For the six months ended 9/30/99, reveneues fell 79% to $103 thousand. Net loss rose 65% to $1.9 million. Revenues reflect the Company's decision to focus on product development and reduce its emphasis on contract research and development. Increased losses reflect higher costs associaoted with product development, including the hiring of personnel for production, marketing and sales.
