Dark predictions from me? (LOL) I was right there this AM leading the parade. (Your technical explanation of today's PM slide sounds reasonable to me.) I would not expect any more hard news tomorrow or Friday, but we may get some analyst comments.

Well this ship won't sink now that its got Excite, GM, myTalk, and Portico. Now only if a person like AOL's Robert Pittman to take this thing to market.

Dr. Markman did a great technical job taking over in 1997 as General Magic's Magic Cap OS was failing and turning the company to voice technology. That was a huge change for the company. (I knew four senior GMGC engineers in 1995 on the Magic Cap project. All are gone.)

I won't rest completely until I see a major new hire. Don't forget, we lost four VPs during the past six months, and we have seen no announcement of a VIP new hire since Rose Marcario in November.

GMGC was fighting for survival this past summer. General Markman has gotten them through it, but all of the brigadiers except one perished. The ability to attract top talent is an indispensable element for healthy growth.
