w, if Clark were manning the phones at QCOM Investor Relations, the IDC shill might have squeezed an accurate response, assuming Clark had recently reviewed the relevant ITU platforms, the Q patent portfolio and the competing W-CDMA patent portfolio, whatever or wherever that may be. The IDC shill browbeating a $35,000 p/a assistant to Julie into saying when she stopped beating her wife doesn't tell us anything. Does he really expect a layperson is going to get on the phone with John Q. Public and spout conclusions as to IPR, when it is difficult enough for the patent bar, along with all the telecom and carrier wonks, to get straight what an essential patent is in any given area?
