What's with the garbled subject names?

An assumption on my part? They took away the HTML tags we were once able to tag threads with, much the same as it is(or perhaps was) with profiles.

Part of the leaner, cleaner GNET/SI.

In the past there have been blinking threads(only viewable with NN). But I believe a number of people might have gotten carried away with it, and not only made the thread bold, colorful, or blinkable, some made them quite large.

ie:
Subject 31726 This one was large(font size 10ish and purple)

Subject 31564 And this one was red and quite large also. I think Cheeky thought it might catch more eyes from the ladies.

Just my guess. Of course, I could be completely wrong. Just as I was wrong about the direction of SI when bought by BNET. BTW, anyone heard from Brad lately? Toto, I think we're back from Oz.

this one has been like that for quite some time
Subject 31757

Be well my friend(s).

P>s. here's an interesting subject search that will exemplify it further

It's going down so far down.
I believe they must be knocking on heaven's Door

T minus 5 and counting.

EDIT IN: Ask Becky, she seems to have been tinkering with it today, again.

Wonder how many test threads we really need on SI?
