It's not that at all. At least not with me. I don't think you've seen me gloating or chiding folks here. Never once have I said "Get out while you still can" or "This stock will be $2 by Friday after next".

I am a contrarian by nature to a certain extent. And the fevered pitch on this thread has risen to such heights recently I cannot help but to want to argue a little.

The 'negative' side of the argument has been terribly underrepresented. And there have been a lot of boneheads running around taunting the longs here in foolish and sometimes offensive ways.

As to the folks you mention, I think CatLady has presented good points, and shes only posted a few times... not nearly enough for a 'messiah'. carl is indeed kinda abrasive, but his logic is hard for me to argue currently (although AMD will prosper eventually). I don't remember any of Joe's posts being particularly saviorly.

Partytime has done a good job of rebutting some arguments of detractors here. But others seem to just get upset, or call names... This sort of activity in this arena tells me that the poster is not really sure of his decision and is lashing out as a cover (to himself mostly).
