Progress?....I have partitioned the drive and have copied old drives to the corresponding partitions. I'm testing the drive now....looks like I'm running into similar problems as before? right off the bat it couldn't find the wsock.dll, I'm running norton now? Everything sure looks like it's supposed to. Hmmm norton says 589 problems, appears to be the same as before? 207 drive changed from E to D...316 invalid activeX/COM etc. Well , I'll try to see if it fixes this time. I may be starting from scratch. Some programs work some don't? I can't get my browsers to work or access the internet with the new drive...It sure looks like my original desktop? It seems it's having a problem with the physical locations on the drive not matching where the data is supposed to be? I wonder what kind of problem would occur if I tried to optimize? I made sure I did that before copying. Well too much trouble...I'll start from scratch.

I have run into some difficulties with theFIC SD11 board? I hope it's not defective. I read a post about someone going through 3 boards until he got one that wasn't defective?

I'm not getting video or bios window on start-up. I'm going to take a short break and try to figure out the problem...I was happy to see no jumpers and stuff to configure so I thought it would be a breeze. I've only come across one bad board over the years....but it was recently? I don't believe it's a memory problem but I will investigate after my break. I'm not getting any beeps. The screen isn't black? It doesn't seem to be powering up correctly??? Always something new.

...sure looks like I'm striking out.
