From a poster on RagingBull: A question & some humor!! >>>>>>>

Is it just me or were the MM's keeping a lid on TSIG today? There was a huge buy volume today with only a meeger rise in price....never could break through 0.47 which makes no sense to me. How many MM's are working this stock? I know Nasdaq stocks require a minimum of two.

I am picturing in my mind 2 MM's working the TSIG stock and a conversation going something like this:

MM#1: "Hey Mr. M. M. Scumbucket, this is your buddy M. M. Bottomfeeder. We sure got caught with our pants down with this big PR today, eh?"

MM#2: "Yeah, my hired bashers had to work extra hard today on the boards."

MM#1: "Yeah, I had to call in reinforcements myself to work the RB board. Utah1 is asking for a raise, too. Man these guys are worse than we are...yuk yuk. I was sure enjoying shorting this stock...and just got my books closed too and then this."

MM#2: "Me too. I can't afford another hit like last Friday. We need to agree on 0.47 as the bait price. But, I calculate that we will have to walk this puppy a few times to at least the low 40's and possibly lower depending on how many suckers post stop loss orders."

MM#1: "That sounds good. I agree. I think we should then walk it down just a tad at closing time...mid 40's perhaps. Then we can gap it up more in the morning, make a nice little profit to cover our shorts, run it for a little bit, then do our typical shake in the morning back down and scare up some more shares. Do you think we can keep a lid on it tomorrow below .60?"

MM#2: "That may be tough, but we gotta do something. This stock really started taking off today and I darned near ran out of shares. I guess I'll have to call up Bashers-R-Us tonight and hire a 24 hour crew to work the boards real hard. We are gonna need some seasoned pros....much better than that Utah1 guy for sure."

MM#1: "Okay. Sounds good. Man, I sure hope the SEC doesn't step in and ruin our fun. This is just too easy!!!"

MM#2: "Agreed. Well, I gotta go kick some small, cute furry animals....kick over a few old ladies in wheelchairs....and pull the wings off some butterflies. See you tomorrow?"

MM#1: "Yep. See you tommorrow"
