Steve, thanks for the reference to Intel's planned purchase of a new plant for flash memory units. Sounds like Intel is aiming at low power microprocessor and supporting flash memory modules for pocket or notebook sized computers. Doesn't sound like the units are intended for cameras. Flash memory capacity sufficient to hold an operating system, applications, and documents would eliminate the need for hard disk drives with larger size, weight, and power requirements. Maybe Intel is looking to sell an entire package as a sort of value added unit attached to a microprocessor.
