Yes, Duncan, I do have strong feelings about this practice: Absolutely dreadful, shameful.

Talk about putting a barrier in front of perspective employers of ex-Money Store employees!

Quite frankly, this could hurt ex-employees because what employer is going to want to spend money just to get a recommendation for someone? If a job has two seemingly equal applicants and getting recommendations on one is free yet the other will cost money, I bet the person with freely available recommendations gets the job by default.

FTU should drop this charge immediately.
