Hi Bernard, I understand that Ultracom is very much alive but, as you stated, the opportunities for their S-DMT technology to solve the upstream bandwidth problem were effectively derailed by Broadcom's political maneuverings. Interesting to note that Krista is still at TI. Given the TI acquisition of Libit, do you suppose TI could be readying an updated version of S-DMT? And if so, given their clout in the market, where would that leave TERN...? On a final note I can't believe some people here are seriously challenging your views by quoting George Gilder. It's like comparing Pavarotti to a carnival barker. I look forward to the day when Gilder joins the ranks of his self-promoting predecessors (Tom Peters, the Granville Report, et al), as in "What ever happened to..."
