Bullish on Air Canada

Air Canada (AC/TSE), up 10½ to $9.30, on volume of 630,897 shares.
The shares edged higher as an analyst called for them to more than double in the next year.
James David, an analyst at Bunting Warburg Dillon Read Inc., said the air carrier, which is expected to report its fourth-quarter results today, should see its share price climb to $18.50 in the next 12 months.
Mr. David wrote in a report issued yesterday that he expects the company to report fully diluted earnings of 10½ a share before extraordinary items.
More significantly, he said Air Canada will begin to disseminate news about the progress of the integration of Canadian Airlines Corp.
"To the extent that major undertaking is announced with the summer schedule [which is usually released around this time], investor interest should be refuelled."
