[Seller debate with Will]

Will,

>>Hi Eric, I agree that we may not learn why JC sold, other than a Standford professor needed $15+ million in cash instead of his companies' stock.>>

Good. This means that you are aware that you will be negative hyping the stock next time you bring up this topic in support of your arguments. Now that we have that out of the way lets stick to the % holdings argument which is logically debatable.

>>My theshold for insider selling, by the same person, approaches zero with the number/volume of sales.>>

This is a good way to dance around answering my question. You are telling me that you have no threshold.

Without one you have due cause to post and re-post bearish information about a company and their founder who has sold a very minor portion of their holdings (5 or 10% rumored). You know as well as everybody else (Who can think on their own) that if the company was in trouble the number would be much higher at this stage in the game, and, other founders would being doing the same. This is not the case.

I know you are smart enough to understand this reasoning and the absurdity of trying to refute this argument.

If you continue to beat this subject into the ground with no due cause you are negative hyping.

>>On another note, one reason I don't like investing in Pairgain, is the volume of insider sales by key Pairgain insiders. Insider buying at this point would be more meaningful than the insider sales. If there were no insider sales, I would not be so cautious about buying Amati again, because I expect Amati to succeed long term.>>

Again Will, this means nothing if the founders don't make enough money to invest with. Please go back and read my arguments in my previous post to you. You did read them did you not??? Or are you trying set a smoke screen for other people reading your post???

<<The selling is not good for a small company with earnings where they are currently. IMO, the timing is terrible.>>

I concede this point to you. It is unarguable.

<<Did Steve Wozniak sell before his company had established earnings?>>

I brought this up to illustrate what kind of things people can do with their money while living in the Silicon Valley. It is possible he sold while attached to his companies. I do not know how to verify this.

<<To put it in perspective, $15+ milllion is more than Amati's revenue in the last year - even though it is less than 10% of JC's holdings.>>

Is the glass half full or empty??? How about 15 Mil over. what 5-10 years?

<<I think the bottom is near for Amati, but I will try be patient and buy on the way up, if possible. Amati may not be perfect, but I think it is undervalued now.>>

What price or value do you feel Amati should have right now?
And the same question for Westel?

Buy the way Will, why do you choose to use the Drunkard looking Lexicon at the end of your posts?

-Eric
