The equity markets are so confident Greenspan will engineer this slowdown instead of slowing down they seem to pick up." I agree. A Greenspan soft landing has been fully discounted. Hey, he did it in 1994. But back then the market was skeptical on the sentiment side that he could achieve this goal. No more. And as a result, the wealth effect keeps the train moving.
