iVoice.com Receives Contract to Speech-Enable the Web
ABERDEEN, N.J., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- iVoice.com, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IVOC - news) announced today that it has received a substantial contract to
develop software to speech-enable the Web for 411 Technologies, LLC. of Pompton Plains, New Jersey.
According to Jerry Mahoney, CEO of iVoice.com, ''This will allow the 1.5 billion telephone users voice access to the Internet gleaning such information as stock
quotes, news and weather, in addition to other ever-expanding access sites now available.''
By dialing a toll-free number, 411 Technologies intends to be the first company to allow users to speak directly to an Internet communication portal existing on the
Web and the telephone simultaneously. This service will enable an individual to access a tremendous amount of information without a PC, display phone or any other
special equipment.
iVoice.com plans to combine their Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) and Nuance's Speech Recognition into a software package working with 411
Technologies' Web-linkage telephone system.
