It's obvious that Bob has no confidence in his timing model. We all know that the model indicates either a fully invested position or nothing at all per Bob's own comments throughout the years. So the question is whether the "gut feel" you refer to is the 60% cash position (the model remains bullish, but Bob has a bearish "gut feel") or the 40% long position (the model turned bearish, but Bob doesn't trust his own model).
