One way that Dell can greatly improve their efficiency is by packing all of the computer's parts and software CD's into the box and just ship them to the customer. The customer can then assemble their own computer. This approach to selling computers would result in improved customer satisfaction and pride in knowing that they built their own computer. <ggg>

I'm sure we would all see Dell's stock take off like HWP's stock has since Carly joined the company.

PS: Although Dell may have a very low out of box failure rate, my daughter's Dell pc arrived with an intermittent electrical short. Guess what, her failure rate was 100%. So much for statistical data.
