From RB: True, reticulated lead/ acid and follow-on reticulated iron-nickel alkaline battery will fit into
"conventional battery cases," hook up to existing battery cables, etc., but your next car
battery doesn't need to be five times stronger than what you've got now. PWTC materials
will fit neatly in conventional battery cases now used for motorcycle and lawnmower
batteries. Those smaller batteries will fit okay in your car and - more important - will allow
your next car will weigh less, corner better, and have better front-rear weight distribution.
My hunch is that Porsche and Ferrari designers are already creating swoopier designs
that depend on using our smaller, lighter batteries.
