What is really interesting is a chart I saw in Dreman's "Contrarian Investment Strategies" that looked at buying on a DCA approach once a year starting before the crash of 1929 and comparing this "buy at the worst and hold" vs all other investment classes. Guess what? Equities still won. Beat realestate, metals, bonds, etc... There is good reason that people like Sharpe got a Nobel Prize in economics. They do not hold market timers in high regard. Perhaps they are wrong and Bob will pull this "allocation switch" off to deliver better returns than a buy and hold (especially after taxes), but only time will tell.

I do look for a thoughtful discussion of the indicators and I am looking forward to your posting the Dorsey Wright info as I am just starting to study that for understanding of his beliefs.

regards
Kirk
