Gigot has a great column in the WSJ today. He basically says that McCain won because he was the only candidate that excoriated Clinton for his corruption. Bush has demurred at doing same.

Gigot says McCain won because with a good economy, what matters most is the man and that people want a fighter, not a wimp.
