Got a book for you to read. THE NEXT CENTURY - Why Canada Wins by Nuala Beck. It's a short read, and expounds at great length the opportunity Canadians have to really pull ahead in technology, (and sell it to the rest of the world at the same time). She expounds on a few prime industrial sectors worldwide, and gives her rationale for why we would be stupid to pass this century up. She basically says, "Our turn has come."

For those folks who are of the male persuasion, the charts and graphs will be right up your alley. Go Canada go! (And then I can move to Costa Rica or something.)
