MER is a strange one, their earning should increase as the total market valuation increases, and since I think we are still in a bull market until at least later this year (elections), it should go up. On the other hand, it is a financial stock, and thus one of those the market likes to pick up on when interest rates rise. Since I believe the long bond rally is running out of steam soon, I think you have a good chance of getting MEWR at $85 again in the next six weeks, but over a time horizon to election date, I would say that a PE of 20 on earning expectation of about $6.5 are rational (or a target of $130 for the peak).
