Take a look at the long term uptrend, which began 1/96. It nearly coincides with the present 200-day MA. In other words, the long term uptrend will be broken if NOV falls below 9.875. Another interpretation of the uptrend suggests a trendline at 9. Falling below 9 may be more important, because there is significant support at that level, as there is now resistance at 14. If the company is announcing before the bell, that might be a good sign, since that is pretty brave (unless the report is positive). I'm not planning to buy anymore NOV. I'll wait until NovaSource comes out. I'm interested in that. TDW
