Anyone else feel the frustration?
Boy, does today ever bring back some memories. I am probably the only person who lost $$$$$ today. NASDAQ jumps almost 4%, steady DOW, bond yield drops like a rock, and no success. (I'm not complaining, there are many down days where success is intact)
This reminds me of the 'internut' days when YAHOO and the likes were rocking way out of control driving the NASDAQ up, and watching Q sit or drop. Well, for those of you who didn't experience that, just remember that feeling when the dam breaks and all that $$$$$ comes rushing into Q again.
Which brings up another point. Last week I heard a figure being bounced around. It was how much $$$$$ was sitting on the sidelines in mutual funds since December. The figure was around 42 billion. Last spring we were waiting the big Q rush when "the mutual funds would dump truckloads of cash in our laps". Well, you know the rest. The dam is beginning to overflow, and they have to put it somewhere?
I guess now is the time to not self destruct. As I stated in the other thread, I did shave a little off the top today. Needed some different eggs in the basket.
Maybe I'll just become a 'market extortionist'. Unless I'm paid off, I'll buy the stock you own. Or for a fee, I'll short the stock that you own. Either way, you'll make $$$$$. : )
I'd better be going. The Chef Boyardee Ravioli is starting to boil over.
