Anindo, re: e-bay, sure looks interesting on the chart, and what's more, a big growth fund manager has a big position in the stock and you can bet that he will support it....
re: yield curve inversion, although it's partly due to spread trades caught the wrong way blowing out, i still think it's a major warning sign, especially since the spread between treasuries and corporates on the long end has been widening throughout the inversion process. conventional wisdom is that the inversion is meaningless, but i don't think so. the consumer may well be on the verge of being maxed out debt-wise, and if so, the inversion is indeed predicting a recession.
as to the NAZ...i'm speechless. i actually expected the rate hike rally pattern to be broken this time around.
it sure looks like it wants to go even higher...
