James, God will surprise all those who think they have it down pact. I Love the Lord... I hear Him his voice, it's as familiar has my Mom's voice. I obey Him. When you are in the habit of obeying..it sharpens your hearing. I have Walvoord's work. I have alot of works. i accept what lines up with the Word. Jesus had scripture. But He studied and asked questions of teachers. He also asked His mom and dad about scripture too. I've been lucky. I was in a church that wasn't too religious all my life. I was taught God loved me. then last almost 20 years I've been in a church that beleived scripture and only scripture. Scripture says in eph 4 that we are built up by the Apostle , evangelist, Prophet, teacher and pastor. I'm never afraid to expose myself to the teaching of the five fold ministry. I accept the Word and know God protects me. I never had a bunch of religion to unlearn that Shalom speaks of. I'm sorry for people embolmed with religion but I can love them to the truth.
