Didn't get any AVNX IPO shares? Don't worry FNSR will rock.... " With Avanex (AVNX) IPOing on Friday, there's gonna be a lot of people thinking about optical companies on Friday. And with AVNX designated as the "IPO pick of the week", AVNX is going to soar. It was originally priced at $13-15, then was revised upwards to $28-30 Wednesday, and is now actually pricing at $36 tonight. The stock is up 157% just on re-pricing. Just imagine what it's openning day is gonna be like! And maybe once or twice or several times some Analyst will compare Avanex to Finisar, saying that they're slightly similar, except that Finisar has earnings, thus Finisar looks like a bargain in comparison. Then add to that the "huge news coming" rumor and Finisar could blow through the 70's in no time, possibly another double digit percentage gain for Finisar Friday.
