Rande, I totally know what you mean about considering playing higher priced stocks vs. smaller stocks. So many smaller stocks have turned into big ones, and so many big ones have split. PUMA SNDK and HLTH have taught me some great lessons which you highlighted earlier. People, do not be discouraged by taking a '25' share position if that's all that you can. some of these larger stocks make some extremely impressive gains, largely due to institutional investment. Institutions are much less interested in stocks that are under 10 bucks or 5 bucks. Fund managers are like great big tractors and when they decide to put the plow to the earth and move some dirt, jump on for a ride.
Rande, I do not mind saying publicly as a side note, that you are one of the most considerate, thoughtful, educational, and just plain DECENT people I have ever come to know of on a message board. So many people here, regulars, lurkers, and others including myself have learned a great deal from you, and I'm not just talking about picks, patterns, and techie stuff. You seem to truly care about the individual investor, and about helping those with less experience trade better and make fewer mistakes. Your generosity and thoughtful commentaries, are greatly appreciated. My thanks to you.
Keep up the great work, looking forward to seeing your new website.
