John Hull,
Certainly, this article must need crearification. Where does it say "Intel MMX(tm)". The way that it appears to me, from this article, it could just as well be taken that it is AMD's trade mark MMX enabled.

For what reason would Intel agree to such terms? Has Tom Dunlap Jr.
let us down once again in his inability to defend Intel's legal and ethical rights position? For a company like Intel to loose yet another legal battle, especially with so much advance time to plan its legal defense of the Intel MMX technology, does not speak well for Intel's Legal Department. Will AMD have to recall the MMX chips, that have already been shipped, that do not state MMX (tm)?

John, please help us out here. There must be more to this agreement than this press release tells us?????
Regards,
Jules
