This phase IV for optical switching rumor goes full circle with another LU lambda router speculation involving a decidely non-gorilla tiny stock called LPTHA which makes gradium lenses as collimators in the fiberoptic world and may be part of the many mirrors of the lambda. they also are a 15% owner of privately held Lightchip , an optical switching concern which is owned by ATT Ventures and more recently JP Morgan.

Just so happens that LightChip and Lu share an address with a building in Connecticut and their recent rise in LPTHA is that they may play a part of the need for Lucent to get on the stick re: its optical switching. To make it more fun, Etek bought a company (Kaifka) that does business with LPTHA and as you know ETEK and JDSU are walking donw the aisle. Since we ar talking about rumors, accordingly the Best? information about LPTHA is on YAhoo board.

Is this how Rona Barrett got started?
