My understanding of the NOW technology is that they package the chemicals to be dispensed inside of large polyethylene bags which are inside of drums. Pressurized nitrogen is blown inside the drum to expel the chemical, so it is never exposed to air/gas, and the bag can be emptied with very little waste of material. As the cost of the chemical increases, especially with deep UV photoresist, the waste factor alone can pay for the system quite rapidly.
