The question is whether EXLN has a better integration of software elements one of which may be authored by WEBM or whether WEBM in conjunction with partners like Persistent achieves a better solution for non-competitive clients. EXLN's advantage depends on the client's degree of use of diverse objects. If this is the pervasive addressable need within the Net sphere, then EXLN's solution would be superior even though they use a WEBM software element. This is due to the advantage that other elements in EXLN's solution bring. No one has those other elements and they can't get some of them.

Further, much depends upon the implementation, it's ease of actualization and maintenance, and the experience of the firm in handling diverse environments. As the complexity of the elements rises and the complexity of the environments addressed rises, agglomeration of apparently compatible systems may prove untenable. I tried to bring this out in my Persistent post. In the past if you went to Navigator's partner's page, you would have seen Object Design there. This had no bearing on the relative merits of storage methods used by Netscape nor was it a recommendation of Object Design's products. The relation was skew.

What evidence do you have to believe that EXLN holds unregistered stock issued by WEBM?
