Welcome Opportunities has declared a special dividend of $1.00 per common
share (totalling $4,522,398) payable on March 3, 2000, to all the holders
of the issued and outstanding common shares of the company of record as of
the close of business on Feb. 18, 2000, in proportion to the number of
common shares held by such shareholders respectively.
In accordance with procedure for determining the entitlement of a
shareholder to receive a dividend payment, the shares of Welcome
Opportunities will commence trading on an ex-dividend basis at the opening
of trading on Feb. 16, 2000.
