Mike, If it would help to review ASIC capabilities as they relate to HDR and 1X, here's what I have on my notes: MSM4500 - HDR, IS95-A/B - 4Q00 samples, 1Q01 production MSM5000 - 1X - Recent news has detailed availability... MSM5500 - HDR, 1X - 2Q01 samples, 3Q01 production As it relates to your question, it appears a phone with 1X and HDR is still a ways off, so to receive the 1X capacity expansion, carriers will be standardizing on the MSM5000.
