That is a funny newsletter. It is a highly unlikely scenario based on a totally false rumor that was started yesterday by short-sellers in the bond pits. But I wish that the largest brokerage houses WOULD go belly up. It would bring a touch of justice to the greed and corruption that has dominated the industry for so long. And I stand by my prediction that one day online trading will be dominated by ECNs and regional banks. . . .leaving the largest houses to handle the largest accounts and work on M&As and IPOs, etc. And that will be a fine day for the small investor. You guys do realize that that post was an advertisement for a newsletter, 2 websites and a direct mail solicitation. . .and was based on conjecture, not fact?! Rande Is
