Truman,

I am the author of the post in question.

The segment was an "instant analysis" given by Erika Klauer of Soloman Bros. This "analysis" was performed within 5 minutes of the INTC earnings announcement after the close on 4/14. The biased nature of the "analysis" could only be surpassed in bias by CNBC's lack of explanation of Solly's interest in promoting Intels's competitor, AMD.

Everyone ought to be very cynical about what they hear or read in public media. I speak from experience in this. Whenever I have had personal knowledge of events before they were reported, it never failed that when I saw the events reported, they were never reported without a biased perspective. Although they would dispute this, TRUTH is NOT the agenda of the media, IMO. Making money, while certainly necessary for corporate/organization existance, comes first.

On another subject...
I am sorry to see Karen Gibbs gone from CNBC. I do not get the FOX Financial network on my cable hookup so will miss her intelligent input. I must also say that I do not subscribe to the attitude of political correctness I've seen expressed on this thread regarding the racial makeup of CNBC's reporters. Personally, I don't care what color or race they are. I just care about how they do their jobs. That's all that matters to me.

Barry
