Re: "I don't see any silver lining of the cloud hanging over INPR. We will have to wait for the next two quarters for the 'show me the money'."

John as you may or may not know by now I am as worried as you about INPR. And I also share your views ala W2K roll-out taking away Linux hype.

I wonder though if INPR will go the way of Apple? When MSFT pumped millions into them about two years ago they too looked bleak and doomed but have you noticed their share price this days?

I'm hopping MSFT's money will not go mostly on one time write-downs at Inprise and they use it to do what Apple did and reinvent themselves -which of course we know they are trying to do!

It's just that I wish they would have been more prudent and shown a more finalized decision on those write-downs by giving guidance as to the fate of their real-estate. My concern is that there are a few entrenched board members who will never let go? I'm hoping the Neuberger Berman Inc's SC 13 G/A filing was not a clue of such? I do not have any experience in these matters but it seemed not to have been a normal profit taken matter but rather a; "Hey I've had enough!" type reduction?
