Provide Intel(R) Services and Support - Pioneer-Standard Becomes First and Only Distribution Partner for Barrister -
CLEVELAND, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Pioneer-Standard Electronics, Inc. (Nasdaq: PIOS) today announced an agreement with Barrister Global Services Network, a division of Barrister Information Systems Corporation (Amex: BIS), enabling Pioneer-Standard to provide Value- Added Resellers (VARs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and end users with enhanced services and support on Intel-based desktop and server platforms.
By teaming with the Barrister Global Services Network, Pioneer-Standard can now offer its customers consistent levels of Intel support. Through a time-tested infrastructure, Barrister will provide national service delivery through centralized administration and computerized logistics; equipment repair both during and after equipment warranty periods; and cost-effective and expedient repairs through in-house repair expertise.

Barrister's service and support is available through Pioneer-Standard's Pioneer Resource Center (PRC) for Intel products, where customers can work through their dedicated account team. Once a service request is placed, its status can be checked via the PRC Web site, prc.pios.com, which features a Barrister section created to easily monitor and manage service calls.
