Hi codawg - I bought the ETEK July 200's on Tuesday. I do not think that an exact date for the completion of the deal has been set. I remember hearing that it could take 6 months or more, so that is why I purchased the July's. The discount has narrowed since Tuesday, but seems to be widening again this afternoon. It is at about 18% right now. I think this is a very large discount and makes ETEK a very attractive way to play JDSU - IMHO. Sorry it took me so long to answer your question.
