Gottfried / dealing with market losses

Gottfried,

Thank you for the link. I have to ask myself--in the face of being hit with a severe market loss--just what is the best way to deal with it? It is rumored that some people jumped out of tall windows during the 1929 crash. Not the answer!

It is possible that a severe market loss led to the posting of the images that prompted this thread in the first place. It might have been one person's way of dealing with it. (Just speculation on my part.)

Now we see an entirely different approach to what could have been similar circumstances involving a market loss. I wasn't familiar with proverb 23:5. I think I'll bookmark it now though.

It seems to me that the poster of the link you mentioned, at the very least, added a tremendous sense of perspective to the issue dealing with market losses. I think it was an eloquent post, and it even included a reference. :-)
